📌Room No. 2003 : Where it all Began!

The Room No. #2003 🏠, our safe haven during the Engineering Hostel days at SUIIT, has seen the footsteps of people from all walks of life—some with genuine hearts 💖 and others hiding behind masks 🎭 to win us over for their own agendas.

Manas and I shared this double-bedded room 🛏️ in Aryabhatta Hall of Residence for four years (2016-2020) as roommates, walking through all eight semesters together.

The room has witnessed the planning of trips to Bombay, Delhi, Chennai and ISRO center in Sriharikota🛰️, along with countless hours of collaboration for various events at SUIIT & forming multiple clubs. Notably, this includes Innovate 3.0, the college’s 2019 tech fest 💻, where Manas served as the club secretary.

We’ve also had our share of silly fights 🤭 during the early days of hostel life—looking back, they seem amusing now!

Over time, life’s diverse experiences have brought us moments of laughter, challenging days 😓 and even deep, meaningful conversations when we needed them most 🗨️.

I can’t forget the immense support I’ve received in implementing design ideas 💡, as well as pursuing my interests in writing 🖋️ and tech 🔧. The creative atmosphere of this room fostered the entrepreneurial spirit 💼 in both of us.

In this room, we’ve learned the importance of distancing ourselves from people who drain our energy ⚡ for their own gain—those who use us and then discard us.

The culture we’ve built here has taught us to be more humble, especially toward those who serve us food 🍽️ or wash our clothes 🧺. A simple, joyful smile 😊 can go a long way.

The hostel life teaches you the timeless art of dealing with people 👥—where you rely on your instincts to read the person in front of you and offer them something they can’t refuse.

We’ve developed the discipline to complete tasks within deadlines ⏳ without obsessing over perfection. And we’ve learned to avoid the spotlight—it only distracts 🌟 and pulls your focus toward things that don’t really matter!

Topping it all off with Chacha’s Hyderabadi Biryani 🍛 and the flavors from Bedi Dhaba would be the perfect way to wrap up the journey—a pretty awesome farewell gift 🎁!

We’ve both experienced late-night study sessions 🕯️, faced criticism for backlogs 📚, and navigated our way into career opportunities 🎓.

The shared resources, common dining 🍴, and collective emotions of hostel life teach you to stay humble and never let success go to your head 🎯.

We’re still in our early 20s, with so much yet to experience! There are many great things ahead and a long journey 🚶‍♂️ for us to walk together.

Looking back, I’d say this is one of the defining moments of campus life, where I’ve grown from an arrogant boy into someone more humble and🌱 grounded .

Though the inevitable COVID-19 pandemic 🦠 and subsequent lockdown threw our lives into a spiral of uncertainty, let’s stay hopeful—the sunshine ☀️ isn’t too far away!

No matter what professional milestones we reach in the years ahead, we should never forget Room #2003 🏡, which witnessed the essence of our youth.
