After quitting the job, what I’ve faced is the loss of identity and the never ending array of self🤔 doubts.
When you quit an established work and try to start something from ground, then it’d take its time ⏳ to come to a strong shape.
The time in-between could be named as the risk inclined journey of entrepreneurship.
The challenge with having no boss is, now we have to operate on our own self discipline & think about everything starting from the office rents, IT infrastructure, hiring, selling🏷️ & many more.
I had recently listened to a small clip of Kunal Shah (CRED), where he had suggested:
Everyone who considers themselves more correct than others or believe they’re the smarter ones should try building a startup once!😅
Soon, they’d realize, neither they’re smart🤯, nor they’re anything special or different from others. They’re just in their life journey just like others, that’s it.
And, that‘s something Me & Manas have collectively experienced.
The rate of failures 📉 have gone up, but we’re trying to learn from this. During Jan-May 2021 we tried with online classes model, it didn’t work out. Later on, we got a deal with Moscow, Russia & Executed a Space Centre Visit 🚀 Program and got some confidence.
We conducted some workshops 🛠️ and took an office space to run our business. Meanwhile, few of our early colleagues have left us & we’re experimenting with ideas regularly to see, if we could build a sustainable earning 💰 model.
I could experience the uncertainty, which is something new to me, though in schools and colleges 🏫 we’re promised about certainty and guarantees in everything!
Well! Why jobs become boring is a question I try to reflect upon at times. Companies do have their own limitations, as they ultimately run with a Capitalism🏛️ Philosophy.
Sometimes company backed projects and initiatives may propel the desired growth🌱 in people & add some joy to them, but that may not be a possibility all the times.
In simple terms what matters is, reducing the time duration and enhancing the production, thus the profits.
Whenever I’ve forgotten this fundamental, I’ve hit the rock bottom and realized, this world understands profits💵 only.
When People could point at Virat Kohli’s Caliber after few bad seasons, then you could pretty much imagine our conditions! Possibly self growth is everyone’s personal affair.
In April & May, I had two occasions to go back to SUIIT, the alma mater. I don’t know why, but I always stay nostalgic with the things which have contributed to me in the past.
I’m still figuring out my life🌱, my priorities. We all have our own struggles and moments of joy along the journey.
